To recognize and promote work of volunteers across the globe, The International Volunteer Day was adobted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1985. Since then, many governments, the UN system and civil society organizations have successfully joined volunteers around the world to celebrate the Day on 5 December every year. This photo report covers the celebration event organized by INEX – Sdružení dobrovolných aktivit (INEX – Association for Voluntary Activities), Young Caritas Česká republika and Národní Asociace dobrovolnictví (The National Voluntary Association).
